A lifelong comic book and superhero fan, Josh Rose is an editor and writer living in Kamloops, Canada. Currently the senior editor at Lev Gleason®, Josh has helped develop numerous titles working closely with talent to create the best possible stories, including Captain Canuck, Fantomah, Freelance, and Northguard. He has also contributed to several issues of Captain Canuck working on Back-up Features as a writer.

Auric of the Great White North from Great North Comics is an award-winning, self-published comic Josh has edited and co-written with Davis Dewsbury. Art and lettering by Andrew Thomas, and colours by Sharon Gauthier. Their superhero, Auric, is a 100-year-old shapeshifting warrior from Northern Ontario dedicated to protecting it from monsters unleashed by a centuries-old curse. Auric of the Great White North #5, edited by Josh, was the winner of the Best Comic of 2019 Award in the Sequential Magazine Awards. He will be taking over the main series as the lead writer as of Auric #7. Auric’s Tall Tails, written by Josh, is Great North Comics’s kids series used to encourage literacy in young readers.

Josh was a contributor to the Alberta Comics Anthology: Home from Renegade Arts Entertainment and Dead Work Anthology. Alberta Comics reached #6 on the Alberta Non-Fiction Bestseller list, and Dead Work was nominated for the Best Anthology award at the 2022 Sequential Magazine Awards.
